Mangalore, September 3: The union government must take the stringent action to stop the rise in price and inflation, urging these issue BJP leaders staged protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner office.
Addressing the protestors’ legislative council member Monappa Bhandary said that due to improper policy of UPA government, rupee losing its value in front of dollar. Though government gives reason that decrease the value of rupee caused to increase the rate for petroleum, no relevant methods have taken to stop the falling value of rupee, he said.
Our nation is moving towards insecurity system and gives more chance for black market and also involved in corruption, scam and anti national policy. Hence government must take an action to control the rise in price, otherwise must drop the government, he urged.
District president Prathap Simha Nayak said that in the democratic system every status becoming valueless including prime minister’s post. The union government bowing in front of big companies lobby and acting like east India Company. The union government failed to maintain the financial management of the nation and it must get down from the administration, he urged.
BJP district former president Padmanabha Kottary, Zilla Panchayat president Koragappa Naik, Sulochana .G.K. Bhat, Jagadeesh Adhikaari, Pulasya Rai, Shailaja Bhat and others were present.
