Mangalore. Sep 12: India is a multi lingual and multi cultural nation, wherein a link language is very much essential to communicate and develop, said Amarlal Daultani, Executive Director of Corporation Bank.
He was delivering the presidential address in ‘Indradhanush’ a cultural extravaganza, organised by Akashvani Mangalore in co-ordination with Town Official Language implementation committee, Mangalore. The function was arranged in connection with the Hindi day, which is being observed on 14th September.
In the Central Government Departments Hindi is used as administrative language and effective implementation is need of the hour, he said.
Hindi is rich language and used as link language. Town Official language implementation committee(TOLIC) is doing yeoman service said P. S. Baliga, General Mangager of Corporation Bank and Chief guest of the function.
Another Chief Guest Dr. Vasanthkumar Perla, Asstt. Director(Programme) and Programme Head of Akashvani, Mangalore said Mangalore station is doing ‘Indradhanush’ programme continuously since last eighteen years and getting good response. AIR, Mangalore is getting award for Hindi implementation continuously since last sixteen years and last year got national award, he said.
Prize winners who participated various Hindi competitions were awarded prizes in this occasion.
