PFI Demands to Book the Attackers under Goonda Act

Mangalore, Oct.10:  In  Dskhina Kannada district the attack on legal cattle transporters are increasing day-by-day, and also they are harming the cattle trader. The Popular Front of India strongly condemns that said the district president of PFI, A M Athaulla.

Addressing the media at press meet at hotel woodlands here on October 10 he said that in the name of cattle trafficking they are looting of their valuables and belonging.

On October 9, 5 persons from Maharastra were legally transporting buffalo calves to Kerala but the members of the Sangh Parivar chased the truck attack them. Three people were seriously injured and two sustained minor injuries. The attackers also looted cash from the people who were in the truck.

He further said that the government should arrest all the culprits who were involved in this terrible crime under goonda act and punish them severely. The congress government was talking about the safety of minority, but not care for the minority. The government should take strict action against the moral policing.

There are two MLA’s are there in the district who is belonging to our community but they are not raising their voices against the attacks on their own community. They should break their silence and create a safe environment to celebrate Bakrid” said Athaulla.

Athaulla urged that Popular Front also demands to provide protection to the meat sellers who are selling the meat legally.

Zone president Ullal Abbas Kinya, Secretary Iqbal and district committee member Abdul Majeed were also present in the press  meet.
