Mangalore, Oct 12: Another transfer case of the police official has taken place in the Dakshina Kannada District. ACP Kavita has been transferred to Krishnaraja Sagar sub-division in Mysore. However, no one has been appointed yet to replace her in the city.
Police transfers in the region seemed to be unending. This is the third time a few of the policemen have been transferred in just 15 days.
Dr H N Venkatesh Prasanna has been transferred to the office of IGP (western range). It is the third transfer for Prasanna in just 15 days. The former city crime branch (CCB) inspector was recently appointed to the directorate of civil rights enforcement and then transferred to the daily crime report bureau (DCRB).
Rural police inspector Ravish Nayak has been posted to the Mangalore airport immigration section as against his earlier posting to Bhatkal, while Mr Belliappa, who was to succeed him at the rural station has been retained in Bhatkal.
Inspector Dinakar Shetty, who had been earlier transferred to Belthangady, is now posted to Pandeshwar. Lingappa Poojary has been transferred to Belthangady and Manjayya to Puttur town station.
