Mangalore, Oct. 17: A 32ft fishing trawler ‘Maanisagar’ was overturned at Thannirubhavi beach on Oct. 17 Thursday morning.
The trawler is belonging to. Kishan Chandan. Along with Kishan other four fishermen was there. They swam to their safety.
The boat however, was damaged and the loss is said to go into several lacs.
Besides Kishan Chandan, Narasimha and Kiran swam to safety. The identities of the other two fishermen are not yet known.
Panambur police have registered a case.
