Kundapur; Oct 27: Under the auspices of Kamdhenu cow’s conservation center, Huvinakere and Kamdhenu cow Services Committee Gopadi and with the complete blessings of vishwavallabhatirtha swamiji, on behalf of Deepavali Gopuja, the district level Bhajana contest namakeertane-2013 programme was opened on Oct 27, Sunday at Hoovinakere Khamadhenu cow protection centre.
The program was inaugurated by Anegudde Sri Vinayaka temple’s Dharmadharshi Suryanarayana Upadhya. After he said in his speech that through Upasana and worship of God, if we can be happy in life, through Bhajans, we will get tranquility, peace of the mind. Only when the moral level of the people is improved, a beautiful and healthy society can be built. It is admirable that such a beautiful programme was arranged in holy place like this, he added.
On the occasion, Udupi Paryaya Shree Sodhe Vadiraja Mutt’s Madhvesha Tantry, journalist John D’Souza, taluk panchayat member Deepak Shetty, Kamadhenu Go seva samiti presidents Girish Upadhya Gopady were present.

Cow procession (Gho Jatha) was held on Oct 26, Saturday evening from Anegudde Sree Vinayaka temple to Kundapur.
