Mangalore, Oct. 28: As per the directions of the Central Vigilance Commission, New Delhi, Corporation Bank is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from 28th October 2013 to 2nd November 2013.
Vigilance Awareness Week” commenced at the Corporate Office of the Bank in Mangalore by administering the Pledge to all the employees, including the senior officials of the Bank, by S R Bansal, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank in the presence of Amar Lal Daultani and B K Srivastav, Executive Directors of the Bank.
K.S. Somayaji, General Manager & Chief Vigilance Officer, read out the messages received from Honorable President of India and various other dignitaries.
All branches and administrative offices across the country are also observing the Vigilance Awareness Week. On the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week, the Bank is conducting various competitions like essay writing, case study and online quiz competition for the employees of the Bank across the country. A half-day workshop is being arranged at the Corporate Office of the Bank for the senior executives addressed by J L Negi, Bank Security and Frauds Cell, Economic Offences Wing, CBI, New Delhi.
