Karkala; Nov 08: It was reported on Nov 07, Thursday that as a result of backward movement of road roller belonging to RNS Company at Belman, a girl died on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Sharvari,aged 3,daughter of Nandalike Shree Laxmi Janardhana temple’s priest Madhusudhan.The incident occurred, when Madhusudhan along with his wife Shrathi and daughter was traveling in bike. Road roller driver’s negligence said to be reason for the accident.
Injured husband and wife have been admitted in hospital for treatment.
The accident occurred, when road works was being carried out by RNS Company.
A case has been registered in rural police station in this regard.
