Mangalore, Nov. 13: A ganja smuggler has been arrested at Mangalore International airport by the immigration officials on Tuesday November 12.
It is learnt, he was about to board the Air India Express flight to Dubai when he was caught
The passenger who was trying to smuggle 3 kg of ganja via Air India Express has been identified as Abdul Barish (22) from Kanhangad in Kerala.
During the immigration procedure of checking, the smuggling was found out. Officials seized three ganja packets weighing 1 kg each. The total cost of Ganja is amounted to be Rs 30,000.
The immigration officials have handed him over to Bajpe police. The police have registered a case and produced him in the court.
