Mangalore: he journalist B. Ravindra won first prize in the competition Nanu Mecchida Shanti Prakshanada Sahityagalu organized by Shanthi Prakshana.
He received the prize from senior writer Erya Lakshmi Narayana Alva, at the silver jubilee programme of Shanti prakashana held at Town Hall Mangalore.
The manager of Shanti prakashana Muhammad Kunji, kannada sahitya parishat district president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, the retired principal of Canara PU College G. Shankar Shetty, KSP Mangalore Taluk president Vijayalkshmi Shetty and other delegates were present.
