Mangalore, April 6: As a part of Systematic Voters’ Education and electoral participation programme, a Mime Show CD has been released by DC Harsha Gupta on April 6, Saturday.
Ramdas,(know by his name Mime Ramdas) ,Chief of Spandana TV and director of Abhinava Mangalore has directed the Mime show.Suman,Vineeth and Rahul were played a part in this Mime show of 9 minutes time.
Harsha Gupta, DC has said that for the voters who have been lethargic to listening the same old lectures/speeches by the political parties, mime CD will help them to create a maximum awareness to exercise their franchise and ensure maximum turnout during the elections
CD has been distributed to various public service departments to watch and create awareness among the general public.
Dr.K.N.Vijayaprakash-CEO, ZP said in his speech that various programmes are being undertaken to educate voters and make them to understand the importance of casting their valuable votes under the leadership of Harsha Gupta.
He said that hitherto the district has been registering around 74-75% voters’ turnout and impact of this CD will definitely help to enhance the percentage of awareness in the ensuing election.
Further he said District administration in association with Magnum Intergrafiks Pvt Ltd will organize many more publicity campaign on election.
MCC Commissioner Harish Kumar, ASI Gopalkrishna Bhat, KSRTC Regional Controller Mahesh and others were present.
