Bantwal, Nov 18: Two youths of Bantwal were killed on the spot and other two were in injured in an accident near Kushalnagar in the early morning of Monday November 18.
The deceased have been identified as Mohammed Sabir (21), a resident of Maripalla, and Kalandar (20) of BC Road.
Both the injured persons are aged 20. One of them is said to be critical. They were admitted to a hospital in Mysore.
The four were travelling in a Volkswagen car (KA 21 3006), when they rammed into a lorry at Anekal near Kushalnagar. They were travelling from BC Road to Kushalnagar while the lorry was plying from Mysore to Mangalore.
A case has been registered in Kushalnagar police station.
