Mangalore, Dec 3: The edge of a road beside a open drain at Kottara Chowki has collapsed and block the drain water.
People walk by this narrow path daily, but now the path has collapsed in the edge. This in turn has poses a danger to the pedestrians especially during the night.
The officials at MCC have not taken any initiative to repair the drain nor to clean it up. The collapsed wall in the drain halts water flow resulting in foul smell.
The people says that it also poses a danger for vehicles because when they give way for other vehicles to move ahead, they may slip into this drain.
