Karkala; Dec 06: In an incident, as a result of maxi cab-bike collision, which occurred at Andaru market, in Andaru village of Karkala taluk, on Dec 05, Wednesday fellow passenger sustained injuries.
Sources said that when Akshaya Naik, a resident of Kervashe was taking his father Krishna Naik from Ajekaru to Kervashe in one of the relative’s bikes, a maxi- cab heading towards Ajekar from Shirlal at high speed rammed into bike resulting the fellow passenger to throw out of the bike and fell down and sustained injuries.
A case has been registered in Ajekaru police station by Akshaya Naik.He claimed that over speed and negligence by the driver of the maxi-cab driver was the reason for an accident.
