Mangalore, Dec. 10: The 33rd Inter University sports meet jointly organized by colleges comes under the Mangalore University and Haleyangady Pre University College was inaugurated by former Olympian Pramila Ayyappa at Mangala Stadium on Tuesday Dec. 10.
Speaking after inaugurating the program she said that the most important part of a sport person is to participate in the university-level sports. If you participate here you will get opportunity to participate in high-level competitions. You are lucky because you are playing in this synthetic track she added.
She further said that since childhood I had a dream of winning a medal at the Asian Games. After I lost at the first attempt I continued to practice daily. That made me to win a medal in Asian games and also participated in Olympics.
