Pune: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt release from jail will become a reality post December 21, said reports on Monday. Dutt was granted parole on December 6 following his wife Manayata Dutt’s illness.
According to reports, the delay in Dutt’s release from Pune’s Yerwada Central Jail can be attributed to non-furnishing of surety. Unlike last time when his sister gave surety for him, this time Dutt’s brother-in-law is yet to complete formalities for the surety for his parole.
He was granted furlough in October for two weeks, which was extended till October 29. Dutt went back to jail on October 30.
Earlier this month, Manayata Dutt’s doctor had said that she is suffering from heart and liver ailment and her current health condition is a matter of concern.
Tests revealed that the actor’s wife has developed a large tumour on her liver.
Manayata is also suffering from irregular heartbeats and the tumourous growth is also causing concern, Chaughule who is attached with Global Hospital, Mumbai, and specialises in heart and liver problems had told Times of India.
