Mangalore, Jan 25: Ramanath Rai, minister for forest, ecology and environment flags off road safety rally carried out as a part of 25th national road safety week from LHH road to State Bank on Jan 25, Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion minister said that it is the duty of every individual to follow the road safety regulations their day to day life.
He also said that awareness campaigns should be conducted to make people aware of the road safety measures.
DC A.B. Ibrahim, DK Regional Transport Officer A.A. Khan, DCP Jagadish and others were present.
More than thousand students from different colleges participated in the rally.
