Karkala; Feb 10: In men’s Kabaddi game competition held under the aegis of Mudrady friends circle and district amateur Kabaddi association on Saturday night in Mudrady Melmane Rudrakshi Narayana Shetty auditorium on Feb 08, Saturday under flood light Mudrady Royal friend’s circle team by bagging first place received Rs 22,222 in cash and winning trophy.
Out of 34 teams arrived from different corners of the state, Mutlupady Ardhanaareeshwara team by bagging second place, has received Rs 15,555 in cash and winning trophy, followed by Mudrady’s friend’s circle team third place and Mudrady’s play boys team bagged fourth place respectively.
The rural game Kabaddi, which was organized in the stadium decorated with illuminating lights was the centre of attraction whole night for the people in the surrounding region

Valedictory function:
Karkala ASP Annmalai,who chaired the valedictory function has distributed the prizes and trophies to the winners.Karave district president C.M.Prasanna Kumar,Hebri police station’s police inspector Seetharama,chief Kabaddi decider Ramakrishna Hegde,Ramesh Suvarna,Manjunatha Hegde,Shashidhara Shetty,Raghava Nayak,Perdoor Upendra Acharya,Kabbinale Seetharama Hebbar were present.
A free tea, coffee, snacks and food were served to all the players and spectators.
