Mangalore, April 30: The District Congress Committee has demanded an apology from Baba Ramdev for offending the Dalit community through his comment that Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi was visiting Dalit colonies for honeymoon.
Speaking to press persons at the District Congress Office on April 30, Wednesday, Ibrahim Kodijal, Interim President of the District Congress demanded strict action against Ramdev for his comments. He said such a comment from a person like Baba Ramdev is not acceptable.
Shashidhar Hegde, Ivan D’Souza, Nagendra and other Congress leaders were present.
