Mangalore, May 29: It was a moment of surprise and happiness for D.V. Suresh Gowda, when his brother D.V. Sadananda Gowda called him up and said, “Your department will be looked after by me now.” Suresh Gowda is the younger brother of Sadananda Gowda and also a Station Master at Nandikoor Railway Station.
Suresh Gowda was sharing his experience with the media persons at his residence in Karnad, Mulki. He has been working as a senior station master at Nandikoor Railway station since 3 years. Suresh Gowda has been working for railway department since 28 years in various stations like Goa, Pune and Hubli.
“I don’t expect anything from my brother. Nor does he like me asking for any favours. When he was the Chief Minister, MP and MLA, I did not ask anything from him. I just want him to improve the railway system across the State, especially Dakshin Kannada region,” he said.
Sadananda Gowda is the third son amongst 6 children of Venkappa Gowda and Kamala. Ratnavati Suliya is the first daughter, D.V. Shivakumar is the second son, Savithri Shivaram is the forth daughter, D.V. Bhaskar Gowda is the fifth son and D.V. Suresh Gowda is the sixth son.
