Mangalore, April 30: Addressing the media reporters in the press meet held at city’s Hotel Woodland Hall on April 30, Tuesday Ramachandra said in his speech that the people of North constituency have suffered a lot in the past under previous governments and hour of the need is to bring change in the governance.
He further said that earlier governments have miserably failed in delivering the mandate of the people and hence he expressed his confidence of victory for him in particular and KJP in general.
The developmental works done by him for the welfare of the fishermen community has his own strength and without any doubt people of fishermen community definitely exercise their franchise in his favor in the forth coming assembly election, he says boldly.
He also added that some politicians are backing the proposed Niddodi ultra mega thermal power plant but they pretend as if they don’t know anything about that, he charged
The proposed project at Niddodi will not be allowed to start in the district, Baikampady said it will also be driven out just as people of Karwar drove away the Talpadi power plant.
While speaking to media reporters he said that KJP has promised to give due representation to fishermen community but no other political parties in the past have assured its due representation to the community.
KJP leaders Kamaraj Rai, Aziz Baikampady, Hameed Kudroli, Ibrahim J, Ramesh Kanchan and Gangadhar Salian were present in the press meet.
