Mangalore, July 24: A meet in respect to sand transportation was organised in the DC office here, after the meet, DC mentioned the value for each load of sand.
The value for sand in the district has been fixed as below
-Cost of one lorry load (2 units) of sand – Rs. 3000 for first 10 km, additional Rs. 500 will be charged for every 5 km after the minimum distance.
-Cost of one tipper load (2 units) of sand – Rs. 2500 for first 10 km, additional Rs. 500 will be charged for every 5 km after the minimum distance.
