Bangalore: Bangalore police have arrested a couple for allegedly brutally assaulting their 13-year-old domestic help repeatedly.
The girl had suffered serious head injuries and multiple abrasions from the alleged abuse, say the police.
The girl was reportedly admitted to a private hospital by the couple, who told doctors that she was suffering from epileptic fits.
She was later transferred to a government hospital and her condition is currently stable.
The police are expected to record her statement and she will be produced in court soon.
