Shops burgled at Boliar

Ullal, August 11: Subsequent robbery has taken place a day before yesterday during the late hours at Boliar. A complaint have been filed of seven shops have being burgled along with two jewelers’ shops and possessions worth more than 2 lakhs have been looted.

Shree Nidhi Jewellers; owned by Narayana Achar ,a resident of Boliar has stated in his complaint that gold ornaments, silver and one gram gold jewellery approximately worth Rs 1.5lakhs have been robbed form his shop.

 Cash Rs 13,ooo and sandals from Shoe Bazar which belongs  to Naufal, cash from a saloon belonging to Sandeep, gold ,silver and one gram gold from Avinash jewelers which belongs to  Dhananjay Achar ,Chicken stall owned by Moosa Kunhi, cash Rs10,000 and articles  from a stationary shop which belongs to Keshava Bhandary and Ply wood shop belonging to Majeed were burgled.

It has been reported that theft has been attempted at Mahalasa Sweets, which is close to Shree Nidhi Jewellers. The locks of all the shops were broken in order to carry out the theft. Konaje Station police have visited the spot and filed a complaint regarding the theft and investigation is under progress.
