Mangalore May 23rd: Pandit Health Resort & Spa, Moodbidri felicitated Ms. Mishal Queeni Dsouza who is the only candidate selected from entire Dakshin Kannada for Civil services 2016.She is the Daughter of Lazarus and Nancy D’Costa resident of Nidodi Village Moodbidri.The program started with the traditional lighting of lamp by to Swasthi Shree Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji from Jain Mutt, BJP leader Shri Jagadish Adhikari, Rev. Father Basil Vaz from Holy Rosary Church, Alangar, Mr. & Mrs. Goel chief promoter of Pandit Resort, Ms. Ruby Agarwal Chairperson of Pandit Resort & Miss Mishal.
Ms. Ruby Agarwal in her welcome speech louded the success of Ms. Mishal & explained that Civil Services is the toughest competition and only about 1000 deserving & intelligent candidates get selected out of approx. 5 lakh candidates who appear for the UPSC exams.
Ms. Agarwal also mentioned that Pandit Health resort & Spa in its endeavour to encourage the talents & achievements from different fields has already honoured Ms. Mamtha Poojary Asian Games Gold Medal Kabbadi champion, Ms. Poovamma Asian Games Gold Medal Athletic winner, Sony Shetty Gold Medalist Malaysian Junior Karate Champion, Ms Afreen Vaz Femina Miss India International, Bollywood Ace Choreographer Saroj Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan producer from Mangalore Rajesh Bhat, CREDAI president Mr. D. B. Mehta etc. in the past.
Shree Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji from Jain Mutt, Maharishi Dr. Sri Sri Anand Guruji from Anand Siddhipeetham, Bangalore, BJP leader Shri Jagadish Adhikari, Rev. Father Basil Vaz from Holy Rosary Church, Alangar, Dr. Vinay kumar Hegde, Ms. Archana from Jet Airways spoke on this occasion and gave their blessings to Mishal.
Mr. Lazarus D’costa got emotional during his speech & thanked Pandit Resort for the gesture shown to his daughter. Mishal Queeni Dcosta in her speech said that by honouring her Pandit Resort has shown the way to all aspirants of Civil Services and she hoped that if at least one student could be inspired by this gesture she would be happy.
Mr. Goel chief promoter of Pandit Health Resort in his speech mentioned the hardship faced by Mishal is the source of happiness now not only for herself but also to her entire family. He recalled that how he & his family felt proud when his brother Mr. Chand Goel became the first IAS officer from Mathura district and again when his brother married the first lady IPS officer Mrs. Sridevi Goel of Maharashtra. Mr. Goel advised Mishal to do her work without any pressure and distinction of caste & creed.
The felicitation ceremony of Mishal Queeni Dsouza was done traditionally by Shawl, Garland, Memento, Fruits, bouquets & flowers by all the dignitaries.
