Japanese bike maker, Honda is readying the all-new Honda Unicorn 160 for the Indian market. The new model is likely to get more modern design and is equipped with high end features. The motorcycle has already been dispatched to dealerships, indicating a near launch.
The new Honda Unicorn is likely to share its components and design elements with the CB Trigger. It sports muscular tank with shrouds that accommodates the 3-D Honda emblem. There are three fins on the side panels which look quite identical to the two fins offered on the CB Trigger. The pillion footrests are directly lifted from the Honda CB Trigger.
The seat panels look bigger, while the rear end is completely new. The tail lights get all-new “H” design, and is likely to get LED unit that is also offered on the CB Trigger. Features like switch gear, handles, digital instrument cluster and others too resemble the siblings. The front wheels of the bike have been fitted to disc brakes, while the rear wheels get drum brakes. Under the bonnet is a 160cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that is capable of producing a top power output of 14bhp.
As mentioned above, the company has started dispatching the bike to its dealers across the nation, we expect it to be launched by December 2014.
