New Delhi: Parineeti Chopra and Ranveer Singh’s latest offering from Kill Dil is ethereally pleasing.
Titled ‘Sajde,’ the latest song from the film has been crooned intriguingly by Arijit Singh, Nihira Joshi and Gulzaar.
A little something that I have heard after a very long time (at least not in a Bollywood movie if I recollect) Sajde offers you a great melodious package.
Both Ranveer Singh and Parineeti Chopra come too close to bring passionate romance but the brilliant background score outshines this sensuous duo on screen.
Another very interesting thing about the video is that every single frame consists of unrealistic yet tremendously beautiful backdrops (especially the first chunk).
As ‘Sajde’ commences, you hear a rather deep poem paving way for a soulful song to take over. A fusion created with Punjabi, classical and rock, Sajde is anything but fantastic. What also comes out hitting over the top is Arijit Singh’s versatility.
We have seen this man doing wonders with his ultra soulful voice in Tum Hi Ho, Phir Le Aya Dil, Mast Magan and the most recent Khul Kabhi Toh; his singing has gone effortless. However, Sajde carves yet another definition of Arijit’s singing prowess.
The music, visuals, chemistry brought together looks a sure winner but Arijit and Nihira’s mesmerizing voice calls for praises, claps, cheer and a lot more.
Moreover, it was an awe-struck moment for me to realize Parineeti looking amazingly sassy in the song. The curvaceous bella has perfectly hit right with her beauty and the camaraderie on display with bare bodied Ranveer is ‘killer’ (Caution: I am being all over with Ranveer’s marvelous frame).
If you are searching for anything worth searching for, dare you miss ‘Sajde’ from Kill Dil. Watch it here and delve in the fervent emotions between Ranveer and Parineeti…
Sajde is a song that demands a bit of stake in your love life. And when you hear it, you tend to listen to it with all your attention. Not only because the lyrics demand so but also because you can’t resist but delve in the pool of rustic yet supple romance you feel through Sajde.
‘Khwabi khwabi si lagti hai duniya, aankhon main ye kya bhar raha hai…marne ki aadat lagi thi, kyu jeene ko jee kar raha hai’ – such lines are meant to feel the sheer pleasure.
An ecstatic creation, Kill Dil and the musical team deserve tons of accolades for taming ‘Sajde.’
Kill Dil is directed by Shaad Ali and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film also stars Govinda and Ali Zafar apart from Ranveer and Parineeti and is slated for release on November 14.
