Chennai: Celebration time in Rajinikanth’s abode as the superstar is going to be grand pa again. Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya is expecting her first child with industrialist husband Ashwin Ramkumar. The ‘Kochadaiyaan’ director took to twitter to break the happy news.
“Thank you all for the love and wishes! The whole family is excited and I feel very blessed. #babyontheway #motherhood,” tweeted the younger daughter of Rajinikanth and Latha.
Rajini once expressed his desire of being grandfather to Soundarya during ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ audio launch and now it is really happening. Rajinikanth had said, “In a family, women take on more responsibilities and they take care of children and spend more time with them. Soundarya has gone through a lot of suffering while making this film and I am sure she will get many more offers to direct films. But, my sincere advice to her is to have at least two kids and then come back to filmmaking.”
He has two grandsons Linga and Yatra, from Aishwarya-Dhanush’s side and the third one is on the way. This is going to be Soundarya’s first child.
Soundarya confirmed the news, “All of us including amma, appa, Aishu are very excited, and I feel very blessed.”
Soundarya and Ashwin tied the knot in 2010 in Chennai.
