Shruti Haasan, the actress-singer-music composer that she is, has lent her voice to other actresses in the past. Now she has crooned for herself.
According to sources, Shruti recently recorded for a modern, edgy, rock pop love song for her upcoming Hindi flick ‘Gabbar’ opposite Akshay Kumar.
“The song will be picturised on Shruti soon. She will appear in the most modern costumes in this number and it will be canned in Mumbai,” sources said.
Meanwhile in Kollywood, she is busy with Vijay starrer ‘Puli’ and other projects. In ‘Puli’, she is expected to sing a song with Vijay in Devi Sri Prasad’s music.
