It’s no secret that Anurag Kashyap is impressed by Ranbir Kapoor’s ability as an actor, particularly after working with him in ‘Bombay Velvet’.
In this candid click from the sets of ‘Bombay Velvet’ Anurag Kashyap is seen hugging Ranbir Kapoor from behind. The moment apparently came when Anurag was impressed by a shot given by Ranbir.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the movie is based on Gyan Prakash’s book ‘Mumbai Fables’ that explores Mumbai in the early 1950s and 1960s.
Besides Anushka Sharma, the film also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Kay Kay Menon, Manish Chaudhary, Siddharth Basu and Remo Fernandes.
‘Bombay Velvet’ is jointly produced by Phantom Films and Fox Star India. It will release on May 15.
