Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra starrer Shuddh Desi Romance has been received very well at the box office.
Also starring new comer Vaani Kapoor, the film depicts the relationship the trio share and gives a take on live in relationships in India.
And this formula from YRF seems to have worked well with all audiences, especially the youth.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on micro blogging site Twitter, “ShuddhDesiRomance Fri 6.45 Cr, Sat 7.90 Cr, Sun 8.92 Cr, Mon 4.79 Cr. Total 28.06 Cr nett. Superb!”
The film has also done well overseas. He was further quoted saying, “#ShuddhDesiRomance has surprised one and all by performing very well in the international arena. Wknd total: $ 1.08 million [Rs. 7.04 cr]”.
