Mumbai: Sanjay Dutt was granted parole for the third time in three months on medical grounds. The third time he was about to be granted parole for his wife Maanyata. After this news there were protests and the nation cried over ‘why Dutt is been given such facilities’.
The actor, who spent all of October at home in Mumbai was about to get another month-long leave for his wife Maanyata’s ill health.
But the news seems to have made a mockery of the judicial system. Dressed in rugged jeans, sporting nerdy glasses, Maanyata Dutt was spotted flaunting her glam quotient at the screening of ‘R..Rajkumar’ on Thursday.
But Dutt’s near and dear friend Mahesh Bhatt stood for him and said, “I spoke to Manyata this morning. Maanyata didn’t know anyting about Sanjay Dutt’s parole,she wasn’t informed about it, how can the officials spread this news to the media before informing the family.”
He later added Maanyata was actually unwell and asked why can’t she attend events. “Even Manisha Koirala was suffering from cancer but still she attended my nephew Vishesh Bhatt’s wedding. Why the media has hyped the news so much,” says Bhatt.
