Dubai, July 12: The Byari’s Cultural Forum at U.A.E had organised “BCF Iftat party-2014” on the evening of Friday, July 11 at Iranian Club Hall at Dubai.
The Iftar Party saw the presence of Hindu and Christian community members along with Muslim brothers and sisters. The Iftar party was organised to symbolically end the fasting of Ramadan. The presence of people from all the community showed the unity and brotherhood amongst them.
There was a Quiz competition and talk on Islamic culture before the Iftar Party, later formal function was organised.
The responsibility of the programme was completely taken and organised by President of BCF, Dr. B.K. Yusuf, Secretary Dr. Kaup Mohammad, M.E. Moolur and Abdul Lateef Mulky.
The Byari’s Cultural Forum has been providing scholarships to poor students of Byari community every year, even this year the scholarship providing programme will be organised in Mangalore on August 10. On this account, many donors from different communities came forward to donate some amount to the scholarship fund.
In the formal function held, Satish Venkatraman of Chilivili groups, President of Sharja Karnataka sangha Satish Poojari, Ganesh Rai, Mallikarjuna Gowda, Jayanth Shetty, Dr. Ali Mohhamadpur, Ibrahim Sakhaf Kedambadi, saleem Altaf, Ameeruddin, President of BCF, Dr. B.K. Yusuf, Secretary Dr. Kaup Mohammad, M.E. Moolur, Abdul Lateef Mulky and others were present on the stage.
