New Delhi: Indian security agencies have documentary evidence, which proves that underworld don Dawood Ibrahim is living in Pakistan, a report in Hindustan Times said on Saturday.
The report stated that Dawood and his family are based out of the upscale Clifton neighbourhood in Karachi.
Dawood Ibrahim is accused of masterminding the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. The bombings were a series of bomb explosions that took place in Mumbai. The single-day attacks resulted in over 350 fatalities and 1200 injuries.
The newspaper also published a recent picture of the underworld don and further stated that this evidence is likely to be presented before Pakistan’s NSA Sartaj Aziz by his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval in the talks scheduled for Sunday.
The evidence reportedly includes a telephone bill in the name of Dawood’s wife, Mehjabeen, which has their home address.
India has handed over to Pakistan several dossiers on Dawood giving details about his locations in Pakistan, but Islamabad has always denied shielding the terrorist.
