Kundapur, October 18: A youth who had been to the river along with his friends to swim has expired by drowning there. This incident occurred on Friday afternoon, October 17th in Hadavu near Padukone.
The deceased is identified as Akshaya poojary (17), resident of Nada. This boy is the son of late couples Eeranna and Jaya who were residents of Nada, lived with his granny post his parent’s death.
It is learnt that, later he had left to Bangalore and was employed in a bakery there. Akshay had come down to his native 3-4 days ago.He accompanied with his four friends went to swim in the Sourparnika River which is close to Hadavu during which he had slipped into the river and expired.
The Gangolli cops have inspected the spot and registered a case.
