Mangalore, October 20: The statements of former chief-minister Veerappa Moily that petrol, diesel price rise are not done by Modi government and victory of BJP at Maharashtra, Haryana, are due to the black mail of BJP party; has been criticized by the Dakshina Kannada district BJP which says it is the tendency to distort the truth and is politically motivated.
After Modi being elected as the prime minister at the centre; the petrol prices continued to fall, GDP price was 4.6 which has risen to 5.7, inflation has dropped to 2.8 from 3.7, and the stock market has recovered. Price of essential commodities has reduced. 100 Smart-City has been donated to the country, pensions of workers is hiked, connecting rivers, simplification of the income tax, the tax exemption for senior citizens, priority for national security, housing for all citizens by 2020,Make in India and idea of clean India etc… by all these good ideas, the citizens in Maharashtra and Haryana states of India, have supported the BJP.
The district spokesman and former MLA K. Jayaram Shetty said in a press statement that Veerappa Moily being unable to digest the truth is giving false information which is not fair. As per the statements of the speaker of the assembly- Kagodu Thimmappa that the administration in the state has gone bankrupt and also the congress leaders at the centre are lauding the Modi administration.
