Mangalore, October 31: A Tata Indica car was seen burning at the parking slot of Mangalore International Airport Terminal on Thursday evening, October 30th.
The Car with registration KA 03 ME 6237 belongs to Sri Ventures. The driver of the car, Raja Sheik saw the fumes emerging out of the vehicle and ran out of the car saving his life.
The fire was put off by the MIA fire force.
The driver, Raja Sheik had come to the Airport to pick up the daughter of the car owner from the airport who was expected to arrive in the evening flight.
The driver saw smoke emanating out of the bonnet and stopped the car on the road towards the parking bay. The car began to burn within a short duration.The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
The Bajpe cops are investigating the case.
