Mangalore, October 31: A man was butchered to death by a crew of six during the wee hours of the day on October 31st, Friday. The group fled the scene in a car.
The deceased is Ijja alias Ijaz (28), son of Ismail from Kannur, Adyar Mangalore.
Ijaz had visited Modelling Hair Dressers in Kannur. The gang rushed into the salon at once and started attacking on Ijaz with machetes. Ijaz lost his life instantly due to profuse bleeding.
After some time, people gathered at the spot.
It is gathered that Ijaz’s name was linked to the murder of a person about a year ago. It is said that this murder was done to avenge the revenge.
City rural police who arrived at the crime spot arranged to shift the body of the victim to Wenlock Hospital.
A case is registered and investigations are on.
City police commissioner, R Hitendra, along with other police officers had visited the spot.
