Mangaluru, November 2: The Karnataka Rakshana Vedike activists staged a protest on November 1st – the day of Rajyotsava, in front of Platinum Theatre for screening a Tamil movie, ‘Katthi’.
The activists surged the theatre and raised slogans against theatre for playing Tamil movie. Entire district was engulfed in celebrations of Kannada Rajyothsava.
The protesters said, this was a protest to warn against anti-Kannada activities and forced the theatre authorities to immediately discard the movie.
