Mangaluru, November 3: A massive blood donation camp was organised by the Bajarangdal as part of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s golden jubilee with a target of collecting a lakh units of blood from all over the country. This camp was organised in memory of the 24th anniversary of the firing on Karasevaks at Ayodhya. The blood donation camp was held at Sharada Vidyalaya.
Dr D Veerendra Heggade Dharmadhikari of Shri Kshetra Dharmastala and National President of VHP Golden Jubilee Committee inaugurated the camp said “Donating blood is greatest form of donation. One who donates the blood saves and supports the life of another individual. Donor donates blood without any discrimination of religion, caste, class and gives blood to the needy. This is a programme which is universally accepted by all. ”
He added that ‘Dharma’ can only be preserved if we practice with belief and dedication.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said, “Hindus those who wish all the people in the world be happy and prosperous”.
Speaking about the State government’s administration, he said “State government is involved in politics of hate. Those Hindu activists who work for the betterment of the society are booked under goonda act. Government is suppressing the Hindus in the name of Ahinda. If this suppression continues we will protest against the administration.”
On this occasion, Dr P Vaman Shenoy Sanga Chalak, Jagadish Shenava, Vivekraj chairman of Panama Corporations, president of Credai Pushparaj Jain and others were present.
