MANGALORE: Deputy commissioner Harsh Gupta will be replaced by his predecessor N Prakash on Tuesday.
It may be recalled that 21 officers, including promotee IAS officer Prakash, were transferred when the Assembly election process began in the state. Harsh Gupta had taken the charge of deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district from Prakash on March 28.
Harsh Gupta will return to Bangalore as labour commissioner. Prakash told that he will be taking charge in Mangalore on May 14.
