MANGALORE, May 13: Career guidance and awareness on scholarship to be held under the aegis of Talent Research Foundation will benefit scores of students, who appeared SSLC, PUC, diploma and CET exams.
The foundation in association with Sigma India, Bangalore will organise informative programme at the Town Hall here on May 14. Resource persons from Sigma India will not only guide students about future, but also help parents solve problems related to education of their wards.
Sigma India chairman and professional resource person Ameen Muddassar will lead the programme. Booklets, containing information on various higher studies courses and scholarship programme of government and private institutions, will be distributed free of cost to all students, who participate in the programme, said Riyaz Ahmed, president of the foundation.
He said that about 500 students from various parts of the district are expected to take part in the programme. Students, who failed in SSLCand PUC also may make use of the opportunity to seek guidance in the programme, he added.
Sigma India, which organises career guidance programmes in Bidar, Mysore, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bangalore, Belgaum and Mangalore every year, joins hands with Talent Research Foundation to hold programme in Mangalore.
