Mangaluru, November 29: A private bus rammed into a two wheeler and knocked a man to death instantly at Lalbagh, Mangaluru on Saturday November 29th.
The deceased has been identified as Kiran Kotian, aged around 40-45 years, a resident of Kudupu. Kiran was working for Hindustan Lever.
It is gathered that, Kiran and his friend were riding from Ladyhill. The Rajashree bus which was plying from Bejai towards Lalbagh rammed the bike from the rear end.
Moreover, the bike was dragged for some distance and the pillion Kiran died on the spot. The bike rider escaped unhurt.
A case has been registered by Mangaluru West traffic police.
