Mangaluru, December 8: A chicken dealer was stabbed during day near Kunjathbail here on Monday December 8th.
The deceased is identified as Sharif (38),resident of Kunjathbail.
Eyewitnesses said that two persons, who arrived in a bike, attacked Sharif with sharp weapons. Another person who was with Sharif tried to stop them, but they pushed him away and escaped from the spot.
It is said that Sharif knew the persons who attacked him. He was immediately taken to the hospital.
Valentine D’Souza- CCB inspector, K V Jagadish DCP along with Kavoor cops rushed to the spot and investigated.
This is the third similar case reported within 24 hours. More details are yet to arrive.
