Mangaluru, December 17: A delayed complaint was filed at Panambur station by the family of a youth who ended his life post his affair was broken.
It is said, the victim Anand D’Souza (28), who was working abroad, had an affair with the girl from Jalligudde, Mangaluru since three years.
It is learnt that, Anand was working abroad, and had a good job; met the necessities of the girl’s family, which was not wealthy. In these three years, he had lent his own money to buy motor bike, a scooter, and auto rickshaw to the girl’s family, said his family members. It is also alleged that during this period, Anand given nearly Rs 20 lakhs to the family of the girl.
The girl finally asked Anand to forget her. Anand, shocked by this sudden change, had revealed to his family about the sacrifices he had made so far for his fiancée family, and sought their apologies, post which he ended himself by hanging at his residence in Kudumbur near Baikampady on November 22nd, said his connections.
A case has been filed against the girl by Anand’s family urging to take appropriate actions.
Panambur cops are investigating the case.
