Mangaluru, December 29: A tragic incident occurred in which two youths died after their bike hit the compound wall of a house in Agarmeli near Suratkal during late night on Saturday, December 27th.
They are identified as Nikhil Raj (19) resident of Krishnapura and Deepak Shetty (21) resident of Katipalla.
It is reported that, Deepak was riding the bike and Nikhil was riding pillion. Duos after visiting a temple, moved to watch a Yakhshagana programme at around 1.15 am. On their way, their bike skid and later hit a compound wall post which the duo succumbed on the spot due to profuse bleeding.
Some people, on their way back home after attending a function saw them; but it was too late. It is said that the duo youth would have survived if immediate medical assistance would have been provided.
Nikhil, was a student and Deepak, was employed in a private company a few months ago.
