Mangaluru, December 29: A private city bus ran frenzied and knocked eight vehicles, injuring three persons near Mallikatta, Mangaluru during the wee hours on Sunday December 28th.
City bus was plying from Adyar to State Bank via Mallkatte. Near Shivabhagh junction, the bus driver lost control and collided to a bike. Post this; the bus collided with three two-wheelers and four cars, injuring three people.
The injured people are admitted to a private hospital and one among the injured is said to be in serious condition.
It is said that, negligent driving and over-speed of bus driver caused the accident.
It is gathered that the bus driver has fled the spot immediately after the accident.
The Kadri traffic cops have investigated the case.
