Mangalore, May 25: It has been reported that two day law officer’s conference was held at the corporate office of corporation bank on May 15 & 16th respectively. The law officers from 31 zonal offices and H.O took part in the two day conference.
The conference was inaugurated by K G Subramanian, general manager, corporation bank, on May 15, Thursday.The executive directors of the bank like Amarlal Daulathani and B K Shrivathav were present during the programme and addressed the law officers of the bank
Expressing concern over the agricultural Finance,Shri B KShrivatsav,executive director of the bank advised the law officers to examine the various state Acts relating to agricultural property and find out solution for acceptance of agricultural property as security by the bank.
Amarlal Daulathani, executive director, emphasized on the role of bank’s law officers in the recovery of loans.
During the conference, there were important presentation/sessions like cyber laws by Justice Bannur Math, retired chief justice of Kerala, taxation by Srinivas Kamath, chartered accountant and on stress by Dr Supriya Hegde, Asst.Professor, KMC, Mangalore.
Shrikant, deputy general manager of the bank’s legal services division, H.O, Mangalore proposed a vote of thanks.
