UDUPI: Two children met a watery grave in a river near Karvalu at Alevoor gram panchayat on Saturday.
Police said that Pratheek Nayak,8, and Karthik Nayak, 6, were missing since Saturday. They had left home to play as it was a holiday. The search for duo ended with the tracing of their bodies in the river in Karvalu around 3.30pm. The river is near the school where these boys studied.
A case of unnatural death report has been registered at Manipal police station.
