Mangalore, May 30: The state government has imposed a 57 days ban on fishing activities both in Dakshina Kannada and Udipi district starting from June 15 to August 10
A press release from the deputy director of fisheries stated that the ban would be in place from June 15 to August 10, when all kinds of fishing is prohibited.
Violators of the ban will be punished, the press release issued on May 29, Wednesday in this regard.
